lICEO mAJORANA LATERZA FROM PUTIGNANO HAS VISITED OUR SCHOOL
The Liceo Majorana Laterza visited us from May 7 to May 14. It is a school that offers linguistic, scientific, and classical education to students aged 13 to 19 and is located in the town of Putignano in the province of Bari, Italy.
Ten students participated in a group mobility project aimed at working on the European 2030 agenda, specifically on goal number four, which focuses on education as the key to achieving many other sustainable development goals. The aim is for students to understand that when people can obtain quality education, they can break the cycle of poverty. Education helps reduce inequalities, achieve gender equality, foster tolerance among people, and contribute to the development of more peaceful societies. Additionally, our institute has organized a series of activities to strengthen the bonds between Italian and Spanish students. They have made recreational and educational visits to emblematic places in our region: Oviedo, Avilés, and Covadonga were some of these places, in addition to exploring other nearby sites in our municipality, such as the archaeological remains of the Castle of Gauzón. Within the school, they have participated in activities related to History, Artistic Drawing and Crafts, and Mythology. |

HÖGA HUSTEN FROM ÖRNSKOLDSVIK HAS VISITD OUR SCHOOL APRIL 13TH TO 20TH
The Höga Kusten School from Sweden is a school with students aged 15 to 19 and is located in the town of Örnskoldsvik, in the northern part of the country. Ten students participated in a group mobility and worked on the topic of well-being. The focus of the study theme has been twofold: on one hand, they have studied the physical aspect, and on the other, the emotional aspect.
There are many reasons to take well-being as something with a deep impact on mental health, since it can lead to the development of mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. By prioritizing our emotional well-being, we can reduce the risk of developing such disorders and promote resilience in the face of life's challenges. Emotional well-being also influences the quality of our relationships. Healthy communication, empathy, and emotional regulation are essential for building strong connections with others. When we prioritize our emotional well-being, we are better equipped to navigate conflicts, express ourselves authentically, and cultivate meaningful connections with friends, family, and romantic partners. Additionally, our school has organized a series of activities to strengthen the bonds between Swedish and Spanish students. |
